I have no idea if this has been stated yet, didn't see a thread.

Killed a few enemies and noticed that it showed they were carrying money, but I did not see a way to loot the money?

I would bet on it being an unimplemented feature. I've seen money of the people I kill since at least .30. That's as far back as I'm willing to test my memory though. :p

Unless the system changed with this .39/.40 update, I usually viewed it as the faction funds, not the individual persons funds. Since back in .35, if I sold a crap-load of stuff to one single shop-keep repeatedly, eventually it would say "I didn't have enough funds", which was actually towards the NPC shop-keep, and not me, but it would say that for ANY shop-keep belonging to the same faction.

So yeah, I think it's just faction funds, but that my have changed since I haven't payed much attention to it. >_<

It's actually the individual shopkeeper's funds. When one shopkeeper runs out of money I just go around town selling stuff to other shopkeepers and that works just fine. From what I know all the shopkeepers are the same faction, but I could be wrong.

Changed title, because you guys just reminded me of another bug...

1. When speaking to a shopkeeper, you do not see how much money he has on him, UNTIL you sell your first item, than you see how much money he has.

2. I have never seen money carried on corpses, playing on the version whatever it is that's on Desura. I have only seen bounties and that's it, but never have I seen hard cash on the corpse, just a 0 for credits til now, specifically on dust bandits. (Also seen caravan traders HIRE the guards in bars, and you see the money randomly popping up over their heads, I'm sure y'all have seen that as well).

It's not yet implemented to loot money off corpses, be it bandits or shopkeepers. It's not a physical entity and is (like the guy above said) linked to a faction, not to an individual.

Your first point is valid though, you can't see money on a trader until you've started trading.

Are you sure they hired shop guards( and therefore converted them to caravan guards)?

Its more likely they were trading with the bar, which now has food supplies. You can trade with it too, need to go through the shop counter tho.

Honestly, I didn't see them hire shop guards, I'll try to pay attention to that, but I did see money randomly start floating above the bar area and my first thought was "wth..." and I started seeing Caravan guards run out, that's why I made the connection, but I am unsure as to what that was doing there.

Okay, that's fine it's not implemented, I just never saw any money on any corpse until now, and going back and double checking I see what the guy stated above that it was the faction money (geez, hungry bandits have 2k chips and sand ninjas only 800... how can they be hungry still? haha)

Thats 2k cats between an infinite number of bandits. I just wonder which one is carrying the loot and if he's as hungry as the rest.

(By infinite, I do not actually mean unlimited but undetermined or dynamic quantity, also implying a very large number.)
