I grabbed the .39.1 version a couple of days ago and took it for a spin. I couldn't find much on the exact extent the new building features had been implemented, so some of these may not actually be bugs, but I wanted to make sure.

1. Pathing issues on higher speeds: Characters have problems going in/out of buildings at higher speed settings. This isn't completely unique to the new version, but it becomes a little more problematic since material storage is interior and characters do a lot more running in and out of buildings. Sometimes the squad members can eventually make it inside, but more often than not it becomes necessary to slow down the game time so they can figure out how to go through.

2. Cannot demolish building if squad member cannot reach door: I made the mistake of building a saloon that is partially sunk into the ground (some of the steps are under the sand) and now I have no way to get rid of it. If I tell a squad member to demolish/open/lock the building they just stand in front of the steps trying to complete the action until told to do something else. Is there any way to undo the damage?

3. No way to directly build training dummy mk 2: With other technologies such as the stone processor, you automatically are able to directly build the updated version after it is researched. With the training dummy however, you have to build the rudimentary version and then manually upgrade it. Not really a problem, but it would probably be best to standardize it.

Feature questions:

1. Are the fabrication/smithing benches implemented yet? Once they are built I can't click on them or do anything with them at all. Just want to make sure I wasn't missing something

2. Are the larger outposts buildings accessible? My research tree seemed to end at Large Houses

That's all I can think of for now. I'm really enjoying the progress of the game.

As far as I saw, the Large house was the biggest I could build.
