having a problem where i cant see npc unless i zoom in on their location. before when walking in the desert i would see groups far off in the distance, now i cant see them unless they are almost within attack range

heres some pictures of them invisible but when i zoom in 1 more closer they are visible.

zoomed in 1more closer and now u can see npcs. i used to be able to see them way further. i can post more pics if needed, one time there was a battle in the distance, i can see the attack numbers but not the npcs until i was very close

I hope this is a feature, it was a bit silly to see enemies at any distance while they only notice you within a set distance.

if its a feature then it wouldn't make sense that our view distance is 100 meters, and also when i zoom out the npcs disappear even if im right next to them.

Im pretty sure its a bug i havent seen it posted as a feature, really it just makes everything look empty.

Edit: if it is a feature as u hope, wouldnt it be better to increase that "set-distance" the enemies attack and still be able to see at a normal distance. i just prefer it the way it was. im quite sure its a bug

I have the exact same problem and for now im going back to an older version this makes the game near unplayable you cant hunt and you get jumped by invisable enemies that appear from 10 feet away so short of somehow cheating or just happening to have had a really powerful squad to update to this version your near screwed

ya i agree, its been hard playing with this bug, not to mention doesn't look good how they go invisible. even if they are right next to u and u zoom all the way out u cant see npcs

I seem to be having this bug as well. Has anyone had any luck in fixing it yet?

not yet, ill just wait for 0.40.1
