Training dummy
Using a training dummy to increase melee attack doesn't work.

You're right actually, it was a bit broken.
Not sure if the issue is resolved, however I was playing yesterday and the dummies seemed to work.
My new recruits went from melee attack skill lvl 1 to lvl 4 very quickly.
I will note that this is on existing dummies in towns (2 towns tested) and I have not tried crafted dummies.
After checking the wiki site, I think the dummies only train melee attack skill from lvl 1 to 5 and advanced dummies to lvl 10 and do not improve weapon skills.
Not sure if this is "correct" for the code, however I agree with it. Hitting a dummy with a sword would improve my ability to hit ppl with a sword, without fine tuning my skill in battle. Perhaps when (if) sparing comes in it would fill that gap.
