squad stuck on top of building, help

I can't get a picture of it, but has anyone had a problem with their building squad being stuck on top of a mining building. I went into build mode and started a mine. Then all the sudden they ended up on top of the mine??? I need help please.

Yeah, this bug occurs when you build your mine high (using the page up button) and then you reload the game with a character standing on it, they appear underneath. the only way to get your people out atm is to dismantle the mine then reload.

you can save them if you pick up them with other of your guys and then put them down.

I have this problem as well with my miners. However it is just my miners on top of it so I'm okay with it. On the other hand picking them up with anyone not on top causes that person to also teleport to the top of the mine as well.

Easiest fix is to dismantle said structure and rebuild. Unfortunately you get no materials from dismantling but it beats startin fresh. Especially if you've put in a good 100+hrs.

No need to dismantle anything. You can choose 'start new game' -> 'reset squad positions ONLY'.
