Startup Crash on 0.40.4

Trying to run from Steam. Just blew up for some reason or another. Not sure why.

Worked fine yesterday... (despite obvious occasional technical shortcomings or peculiar AI behaviors.) I'm not sure if it'll happen again, but just thought I'd put this up anyways. Hope to see great things from this game, hell.. I'd invest my programming ability to the cause if it'd help, but I daresay you have enough programmers.
