game crash when you try to build research thing

was building up my own little base and i clicked the tech tab to make a research whatever. clicked the research building and went to find a place to put it when the game froze and i heard the windows error prompt, which lead to the game crashing. Also another random yet slightly annoying bug is that my client keeps minimizing for some random reason. happens every so often and doesn't do any harm but its somewhat annoying
