Shop Inventory Crashes

The shops have an inventory made of squares also, I have noted, and I am often short of squares in which I might deposit all my goods scavenged from the various dead people laying about. To those ends, several times I have lost 20k to a save loss, caused by a crash when attempting to exit the shopkeeper's inventory without properly placing the items . To those ends, I should like to request a fallout-esque non inventory-tetris shopkeeper space, that I might sell all my scavengings in peace.
For those of you who may not have experienced the infamous inventory tetris, play Deus Ex, and learn how having you weapons being a minigame is really irritating. Although it is a trivial disagreement, is nonetheless has caused me to crash numerous times for ridiculous reasons.
