UI Text Issues/ Button Locations [Fixed]

Okay so I am a new player to the game I just got it off of steam and right away I noticed it failed to get a few files so I validated game cache and downloaded those. The problem I am having is that the text is either not where it should be or is completely nonexistent, also most of the text is really hard to read if not impossible. I searched the threads and didn't see anything about this. So if there is a fix please post link below or just how to fix it.

What resolution are you running? I don't believe the interface has been optimized for low resolutions which could lead to that sort of issue. If you're running at the default 800x600 you could try running at something like 1280x1024, or whatever the appropriate native resolution of your display happens to be.

1680x1050 Is my normal settings but i did notice that when i started it up that the game seemed to change my resolution automatically any idea how i can stop that from happening? (thought that was normal X.X)

In the Kenshi launcher click on Video Mode and select 1680x1050 from the drop down menu.
