Lo-Fi Games

Okay, booted up the game today to find that I was in brink with no characters whatsoever and everything that i had previously built and earned to be completely gone. Also the clan name had been reset to nameless. Something majorly destroyed my game. Playing via Steam on the most recent update.(42.2)

you have to give us something to work with to help you :/

best thing you can do is start a new game or wait till next update or reinstall or import your save.. Really I think.

Hey Nesn, How do you Import the save file. I have several save files in the folder, and when I click "import new squad" or load or whatever there always gone... which files to move delete or edit to bring it back to 1 of the many save states i see in the "platoon" or "zone" file?

I'm sorry, i'm very new to this sort of thing. I only really started because this is like the first game i've gotten to play at an incredibly early model of and already found myself invested in it lol. But to provide more (if the information is of any help) the game was running fine when i was playing it the previous day. I had one researcher who is the process of researching level 6, one character smithing weapons; all other characters were either farming, mining, or set to bodyguard mode on the other characters. There were no previous major or minor incidents that were messing with the game prior. I had simply attempted to load my game and it gave me a very close-up view of Brink and all of my characters had been erased i suppose. There were no icons or anything in m party box, the day had been reset to 180(i believe i was in the 200s), and the clan name was set to nameless. When i had gone to the location of my base there were no buildings as if everything had just been reset. But, when i started a new game with importing my squad only all the characters in my previous party were there with all the same gear and stats that they had before.

oh god its gotten to me to now aswell. Fuuck

It might be that you turned your PC off then back on using the power button, because whenever i did that i would lose everything.
