Character Stuck after combat

One of my characters got knocked into an area that he should not be able to go and is now stuck and levitating. Is there a way to retrieve him or will he forever be there?

Just use the option import squad in the initial menu, with reset position only, will make you loose nothing,m just change your current squad position into a citty (i think the one you start, not fully sure).
