crashing at main menu

cant start game gets to main menu then crash screen pops up tried clean installs and verifying still getting crash any ideas welcome

hmmm... My Kenshi only crashes on start up when i am hitting the esc key. If you are hitting the esc key then don't. that might solve the problem
