(0.44) Can't load game

Whenever I try to load up my game, whether I import my squad or just load the game, it stops responding and never actually loads. It got close a few times, I could see the desert and a little bit of the UI, but it never got past that. When I looked in the task manager, it was using upwards of 600,000k of memory.

Edit: It suddenly worked after 5 hours of trying to get it to work...
