Issue: NPC placed in hotel bed gets stuck.

kenshi Ver 0.44
Downloaded from Main site http://www.indiedb.com/games/kenshi/dow ... enshi-0400
Patched via wyUpdate from .40 to 42.2
Patched from download from http://www.indiedb.com

City: Traders Edge
Location: Only one "hotel" First bed to the left of entrance

After healing a United cites Samurai, Picked up Samurai and carried back to city and placed in "hotel" bed for recovery. Shortly after placing Samurai in bed, NPC stood up. NPC cannot be interacted with nor selected and will not vacate bed.

Issue repeatable but not consistence. Did not note behavior in 42.2 Direct download or Steam.
have not tried in other city/areas.
Will update.
Have not tested issue with steam download.

Just so you don't feeling unanswered, I know for a fact that when a character is placed in a bed whilst unconscious, they will stand up next to the bed when they've restored enough health to regain consciousness, but this issue looks as if the samurai you rescued does not want to leave the bed.

The behavior Ive seen is that you place the NPC in bed , they stay there for a second or two if that, stand up then run back out to their post if there are no enemies about.

his one just stayed there unintractable.

I'm willing to bet money that specific NPC was part of a patrol. I say this because if you notice random NPC groups that walk about the place, there will be a single (or multiple in Traders' cases) that will have the action "Patrolling" whilst the others are "Staying Close". "Staying Close" means the only thing they do is Right-click -> Follow... their patrol leader. If there is no patrol leader (such as when you bash the hell out of them and patch up their corpses), the underlings will not have anyone to Follow, thus causing them to be inactive indefinitely.

Its a hypothesis.

Hummm, sounds like a reasonable assumption if that's how the NPC acts.

I've experienced this as well. I only put a bandit boss in a bed to let him recover so i could train my men. The funniest thing happened.

He stood up after few seconds(while he actually was still occupaying the bed) and he started to pick fights while being near his bed. This actually made him immortal. He solely defeated 5-6 of my best warriors at the same time (while each of them could kill him easily solo) He was untargetable, meaning my men would fight him, but they couldnt touch him as he was still "laying in bed". (every swing of my behalf was a miss)

I was unable to defeat him or get him out of his bed. my men would continiously start to fight him and die.

This bug solved itself eventually, I dont know how. I think i lured him out of his bed by removing my men from the town or he left the bed, because he regained full health I dont know anymore. but it was quite an annoying bug.
