[Steam 0.44.1] Crash when pressing 'Escape'

I started the game, went to 'Options', then pressed 'Escape' button and got a notification about crash.

Same issue but with non-Steam version.
EDIT: Actually the game crashes if you press the 'Escape' button in the main menu.

Just managed to track down this issue. Apparently when the game is set to Full Screen Yes, hitting the Esc key at the main menu is supposed to exit out of Kenshi.
The crash occurs when Kenshi is launched with Full Screen No, a.k.a. Windowed, and you hit Esc at the main menu.
At least the game still exits ;D
