Game Will Not Load

Ok to start, I recently tried uninstalling and re-installing, so it's nothing to do with that. I turned down every setting available, and none of it worked. I used to be able to run this game fine, but recently when i start a new game it wants me to sit and wait while it says "Loading..." forever. I have tried waiting a whole hour one time, and I get nothing. Pretty much the game won't start because it keeps trying to load the character generation. One time it actually did load up and I got to play, and there were absolutely no problems. But then I tried it a few more times, and I kept getting the same loading forever problem. So far I'd say the character generation for new game only loads 1/1000 tries. and I have only seen it work the one time. Luckily I saved and am still able to load the game I did get to work, but not being able to create a new game is annoying, and very much a game breaker. I am already using Kenshi 0.46.1.
