cant use blueprints

i just started a new game and i cant build anything after some research i found out that i have to use blueprints to build the beginning buildings. i saw that one of the guys in my squad has 2 blueprints but i cant do anything with them so i cant build anything at all so here i am hoping to get some help on this issue. hopefully this is just a bug because its very frustrating its completely pointless to play a game that wont let me do anything.

Does your guy have a backpack equipped? I had the same problem at first, then i un-equipped the backpack, right clicked on the blue prints, and they finally worked. I hope that helps.

can also close the backpack and the right click should work as well.

i don't know if the following will be 100% correct, so if it's wrong i would like the others to slap me until i'm silent ^^

i saw tthat the blueprints, or at least some of them need certain tech levels, so i think it could be you need that tech level to learn it but don't have it
but i could be mistaken and you can learn it whatever time you want and just have to wait with building the buildings or weapons until you have the tech level
