0.50: char bar right click actions does not work anymore

Hi,
i noticed that with the newest update, it is not possible anymore to apply action directly from the character bar. In previous versions it was possible for me to give medic/first aid orders directly by selecting the medic and then rightclicking the patient on the char bar.
Now it is only possible to do right click actions when clicking directly on the character on the main screen. This is a bit cumbersome because sometimes they characters are standing very close toghether.
Btw. when right clicking the chars in the char bar, the menu for actions does appear but there seem to be no selection of any action when hovering with the mouse pointer over one of them.

And i noticed another thing which is maybe related to this,
I do not see the selection box anymore when holding the left mouse button and dragging the mouse pointer over a group of chars. These box seems to be invisible because i can select chars this way i just cannot see the box.
