Hey there,

So I searched around the past few days to see if anyone else had this issue and it doesn't seem to be the case, but now when i shift + Right click on a character and select Bodyguard to assign it as a permanent job it no longer works. I tried making it the only job active and I also tried just selecting Bodyguard from the drop down to use the command without assigning it as a permanent job. All they do is stand around and they were being perfectly fine bodyguards prior to the latest patch 0.50.1 . Is anyone else having trouble with the bodyguard job or is it just me?

Also, i used to be able to shift +right click and select bodyguard from a portrait rather than the actual character, but that stopped working after the 0.50 patch and forced me to find and click on the character themselves to assign the command. Am I the only one with this issue?

Can you please zip and upload your game save file here so Chris can take a look at it.

the last part is a known issue.

I have also noticed the same problem on each of about a dozen games I've started since the latest update.

Selecting "bodyguard" seems to have no effect other than causing my characters to stand around aimlessly.

Hmm, I still have this issue and whats weird is that before i was using the desura copy and now im running it from steam. I did copy my save file over but it happens in new games as well. I know that portrait commands are currently bugged but when i right click to "bodyguard" a character on the actual screen, my guys just stand still. It does acknowledge they are doing the "bodyguard" action but they wont defend anything and just stand frozen, no one else has this? :(

hmm, little worried that chris doesn't know about the bug yet. I just played through the latest build and the bodyguard feature doesn't work yet. There are a few others that seem to have the issue now as well but it doesn't seem to be wide spread. Is there anything I can do to help get this fixed?

im sure he knows about it.
missions really haven't been added in yet. so maybe that's when he plans to fix it since there are other ways to make money.
