This one occurred when building a new outpost. This was after an import. Old base was not imported.

I also got a crash after like 30 minutes i was running away from a group of sand ninjas and i suddenly crashed. I don't think it are the sand ninjas in my case because when i started the game and ventured out i also encoutered a group of Sand ninjas with no crashes. Also sorry for my english.

I have not been able to play for more than 30 minutes since the 0.6.0 update.
I have imported, backed up, imported, dumped this, dumped that, uninstalled and re-downloaded the game, started a new game both before and after the re-install, etc, etc...
It still crashes and everything else works fine.
I suspect it is when the "Encounter" pops up that something happens.
One of the new characters I made started in Catan and i almost immediately crashed.
Another started in the middle of nowhere and didn't have any problems until I loaded a chunk with a town.

I peeked at the crash files and noticed a huge string of failed .material scripts, deactivating npcs, a deactivating squad member?, Exceptions left an right...
They seem to peak or get more common towards the end... possibly a stacking or cascading failure event? Dunno... but it is majorly annoying.

It appears the hotfix broke something, ironically enough. :D

I've had 2 crashes in under 2 hours since the hotfix came out. Both times, I was doing the same thing I did for 6 hours real time yesterday: crafting fabric and building material in my base, no enemies (or indeed any NPC's) anywhere near me. I haven't even imported since the update came out.

EDIT: I also have had a building disappear from my base. I know I have the correct save, because my workers are standing in the middle of where the building used to be. :\

Useless, already reinstalled the game and re-started, lasts for 2-3 minutes, then crash.

It has very little, to nothing, to do with anything you, me, or anyone else is doing. This crashing happens completely randomly. I have been playing since the update. Crash out every 10-30 minutes on average. I have tested tons of things I thought it 'could' be. I have even stood completely still, cancelled all actions, still crashes. I even ran my entire squad into the middle of nowhere away from any towns, outpost, bases, major traffic routes, etc... still crashes. I have started multiple new games and had some of them crash during character creation and a couple that took almost an hour to crash. I have uninstalled, removed all traces on Kenshi from my computer... even put my saves and such on a thumb drive and started a new game from scratch... that was actually one of the ones that crashed almost as soon as I finished character creation.
In summary... It is something wrong with the update. :(
