one hit = instant death

So ever since yesterday every time ANYONE is in combat everything is a 1 hit kill. Not even knocked unconscious, they die after they get.

It was fine a few days age.

what weapon are you using?
what weapons are they using?
How badly damaged are they when they are hit?
Do you have pictures if they were undamaged? and what weapons that was in use when it happened?

1 hit kills are possible in game.
I have done it many times.
just need proper weapon and skills.

Thanks for the quick response. I have done it on several weapons. I even gave a brand new recruit a crappy horse chopper and he 1 hit a united samurai guy. I know 1 hit kills are possible but EVERYONE does them no matter what. my people were full health and had average gear. but even my one heavily armed guy was 1 hit, after he 1 hit some bandits.

okaaaay then.

So the other day I was playing and it was normal and WHILE it was playing the bug started.

Just a few seconds ago the bug stopped and everything was fine. It left just as suddenly as it came.

that is definitely odd.
next time it happens can you
1 Save your game.
2 exit your game
3 restart kenshi and load the saved game that's having that issue
if it continues to bug out after you had reloaded the game, Zip up the save game folder then upload it here. if its over 2 megs, use a off site storage and post the link to it here.

And if you can take pictures of it happening, please post those here as well.

forgot to add.
did any of those affected have crazy weird high or low stats? anything above 100 or below 0 a( without item/weapon/clothing bonuses or negatives ) is considered crazy weird

Well it does certainly seem like some stats were being miscalculated, without the save to examine it's difficult to determine what exactly was happening. You don't have any save files from when the bug was still affecting your units?

Without a way to reproduce the bug reliably, or a save game afflicted with the glitch, it's very nearly impossible to identify the cause of this sort of issue.

Confirming that i had the same problem several times, no savegame now, though.

Starving bandits were hitting my squaddie(paladin armored!) for -400 chest damage in 1 hit, but this was a rare occurance (like, 2 times in 30 battles).
