So I'm trying to build a wall around my settlement and I'm constantly getting the "ground must be more level" message.
If I zoom into ground level, I can see that the ground is the same level, yet if I stretch the wall say, 3 spans...2 will be level and the middle section won't be.
What exactly is the purpose of the "pg up" & "pg dn" commands if the damn objects don't go up or down?
and btw...we're in the desert, building on sand dunes.
anyone here know of a desert that has constant flat surfaces?
can we fix the height adjustment to be able to build walls/structures in the sand please?

it don't like sharp angles. you can build on uneven ground but not all of it. IF you build on too steep of a angle it will leave holes in your wall big enough for bandits to walk thru ( i know i had that happen to me in one of my builds ) so it tries not to let you.
As for adjusting the height for walls. there is very little room to adjust that, it does do it but not very much. it works fine on everything else.
If you have a picture of the issue please post it.

Pg up and pg down only work when you're building one thing really, so you'sld have to build the wall one segment at a time. Keep trying though, you can trick it into building weirdly even if you have to build over existing walls. Example.
Also your sig burns my eyes.
