Can't open my own storage chests.

I have 4 storage chests, each well distanced apart at the feet of 4 beds. Yesterday I was storing stuff in them then removing it just fine. Today when I came on I couldn't access the storage chests, and the only option if I hold RMB is "dismantle". Any ideas?

Yeah, we've had a couple of people report the same problem over on the Steam forum. This should be working again in the next update. In the meantime you'll just have to buy loads of backpacks and get mega strong I guess ;p

Ah, that's good to hear because all my backpacks are in my storage chest.

Just started to play again since last update and can't open any chests I built as well. Steam client.
I also dropped a backpack and couldn't pick it back up?

Most items that are dropped to the ground are unrecoverable.
Confirming that all Storage Chests in my game are not accessible as well.
