[v.70 Experimental] samurai ignoring attacking dust bandit

they let themselves get pummeled to near death without even blocking or noticing his presence. Soon after, when the rest of the dust bandit group "caught up" to the town, SOME of the samurai noticed and started fighting them/him, most stood around strangely.

Very similar problem on this build- Samurai are non-responsive to my attacks, despite being fully hostile.

I was approached by a Joujin, who ran towards be and shouted "attack!" then simply stood in place about 30 strides away until I knocked him out. He got up and continued to be motionless- no patrolling or anything.
