Buildings are just a disaster

I know its not the best thread title, but I'm not really sure how else to describe it - buildings at the moment are just a nightmare. This has been a problem ever since 0.70.1 really, but wasn't an issue at all before this. Basically my characters are getting stuck inside buildings, and also refusing to go into buildings to work (especially a problem with the fabric loom) even when I've assigned them a job unless I manually tell them to go stand next to the machine.

Certain buildings such as the outposts don't seem to have a solid floor, so instead of characters walking up the steps into the buildings they go into/under the building.

Buildings are constantly "walls down" in cities all the time so I can see the Npcs inside but the building floor is black.

Building walls are effectively non existent, and characters just walk right through them as if they aren't there.

Upstairs in buildings just doesn't work, characters won't go up stairs or build upstairs. Also sometimes characters will refuse to build an object inside a building, similar to how they refuse to work or go into them.

yeah, this has been going on for a while. Its my only real gripe with the game. I have been playing other games for a bit, because its a damn annoying bug.

it's strange if you get problems like this in NPC towns, as the navmesh should be pre-built.

If you have some savegames that show some of issues it would be a big help. Savegames of bugs are great.

That's about it, anything bigger than the forum file size limit allows you will have to upload to a hosting service then post a link to it here.

Usually the crash dumps fit the size limit but save files don't. the limit is something like 2 or 2.5 MB

Me personally I use Google drive, its fee and comes included with any gmail or Google+ account.

google drive or dropbox are good places for files larger than 2mb s
more info is listed in Reporting a crash or bug topic. It also explains how to upload a zip file.
