Lo-Fi Games

Hey there Kenshi community.

My name is TunkTunk, I live in Ireland and have a passion for video games.
I use Mac due to work and for the past couple of years have been porting games for PC to Mac and publishing the ports for everyone on the internet.

First off I'd like to say that the idea for this game is absolutely fantastic so hats off to you good Sir. I have been making the Mac port for your game and so far so good but on startup its been crashing.
I don't know a lot about these .dmp files as its a windows thing so I was hoping someone could tell me what that's all about.
Attached is my .dmp file, if someone could take a look over it and let me know why its crashing that would be great so I could continue work on the Mac client.

How are you porting it to mac?

Anyway that dump looks like its from an old version, make sure you update to the latest version, then it wont crash

Old version? I downloaded the demo straight from your site here.
The file name was "Kenshi-0.2a2.exe".

I port games over with Wine and if that fails I'l build it up using Cider but for the moment Wine is working just fine.

it should be 0.21.1. It should self-update, but it evidently hasn't. The torrent download is still the old one, but the direct download is a new one now.

Ah I see. Ok well I will try download the direct one then and attempt the port once more.

If it works I will let you know so that you can use it if you want etc.
Always nice to have a Mac Client =P
