0.72.0 Secondary weapon not used if left hand disabled.
If you're using a two handed weapon along with a secondary, and you get your left hand disabled, you will not switch to the secondary weapon. You'll instead just run around blindly.
If you have two one handed weapons, and get your left hand knocked out, you will continue to be fine, as your right hand is the only requirement of using your main one handed weapon. If you get your right hand knocked out, you'll switch to the secondary.alildevil wrote:wonder what would happen if you had (2) one handed weapons - one in each hand - if they would attack with the good one then...
The problem with the bug i'm reporting here is that a two handed weapon requires both hands, and the flag for using the offhand weapon is "right hand is disabled". So if you get your left hand disabled, that flag is not being triggered, so you don't switch, but you can also no longer use your two handed weapon because it requires both hands... so.. even if you have a one handed secondary weapon, you will not switch to it, because "right hand still functioning"
The functionality of using your secondary weapon if your two handed weapon becomes unusable has been in the game for a long time. that is the purpose of having that second slot ;pTolwrath wrote:I didn't think this functionality was supposed to be in the game yet.
It works fine if your right hand gets knocked out, but not your left.
Ah. I see what you mean. I hadn't really noticed because I guess none of my two-handed characters (of which I have very few) ever get their right arm broken. I'd somehow never managed to see this functionality. Had no idea it was just bugged
