The characters dialog opening had no options to hire or decline, and would not close even after running away. I'm sure I can reload the game and get it to go away but I'm sure that it's not intended to work that way.

I recently started a new game and was out and about recruiting a few new members. As I came upon a third member to hire.... this happened....
The characters dialog opening had no options to hire or decline, and would not close even after running away. I'm sure I can reload the game and get it to go away but I'm sure that it's not intended to work that way.
