[0.74.31] Load Game While In Game - Missing Icons

When I load a game while in a current save, the character icons do not show up. Also, new recruits do not have proper icons when recruited. It is simply a blank box.

Known. They also do not update on mode any other than DX9.
DX9 exp. render broken shadows on sky, DX11 don't update portraits at all.

saving then exiting Kenshi, then reloading your save from the main menu fixes the issue.

just saying what the temp work around for it is until it's fixed.
