Repost of the original post on steam with the log files...

Hello !
After a change of CPU and mobo, I tried to use the Intel HD 530 graphics to play Kenshi.
And the game keeps crashing without generating crashdump files, I only get the windows 7 APPCRASH. It often happens when rebuilding a mesh.
I tried both stable and experimental versions and the results were the same. A bit worst on the experimental even if the FPS were higher.
So I tried back with my old GPU (an nvidia GT610) and it seems to work... with lower FPS but it works.
I'll play longer to see if the problem comes from the GPU.

After a few time playing, it seems it the same with the GT 610. Here are the logs.

After a lot of tinkering, it appears that turning directX 9ex on works better with the Intel HD 530. I still got the bug (or another one look the same...) when I run through the desert using the high speed...

The exception code is 0xc0000005 so it seems that it has something to with a pointer accessing somewhere it shouldn't...

Looking for the esception code I found that Windows 7 can generate dump files on its own if a few keys are added in the registry. If I do that, which kind of dump should I generate ?

I didn't even know this game runs with onboard graphics hardware. Cheers for the experiments!

Talking about crashes, there still exists some kind of situations that Kenshi cannot catch the fatal exceptions. (also with competent hardware)
I, too, am curious about what is happening and what should we do when the game crashes without generating dumps.
At least, logs, cfgs and, in certain cases, saves are of use I think. Tweaking registry for WER sounds promising, too!
Another Kenshi from the Far East.
Be prepared for your death poem!

if it fails to generate a crashdump you can instead zipup and send these files in its place.

orge.log
error.log
crashhunter.log
Kenshi.log
you can find these in the default install directory.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi
