Lo-Fi Games

on occasion, actually usually right after I get to the point where I'm building walls, the next time I load the game my squad is gone. it says 7 members on the load file, but when it actually opens (which takes on the order of five minutes) my squad bar is empty and no one is where they were during the save. this happens for both autosaves and non autosaves, it isn't fixed by validation of the files or loading the game with positions reset. it seems to be occasionally fixed by importing the game, but not always.

Was able to fix it by going into the save files and swapping the characters file with that of a recent (working) save. A few levels were lost, but it's better than starting over. It's actually kind of interesting, seeing as the folder was empty in both cases.
