If it was not for your amazing threads, I would've lacked the experience and discipline needed to raise this thread!

i've played quite a bit made my first house, it was the biggest so 200 blocks, took me a bit :| BUT it was worth it. im just wondering are the factions the Holy empire (red) united cities (blue) and the yellow guys forgot their name :( but are they going to be at war or something. it just seems to fit and there LOTS of reasons for them to be fighting like resources, water, food, territory etc. it just seems to fit in, and if you do bad stuff to a faction you'd be vilified but do good for them they'll like you, something like that would be awesome! im highly considering buying the game to show my support. btw i love the united cities people (blue) i just love everything about them :D.

Seeker, if I am reading your post right....did you build a house on the demo version? With a single guy? A single guy who is limited to like 20 attack and defense? Jeez, masochism at the extreme there. You should buy the game and save yourself loads of effort for future construction projects.

Hello everyone,

I'm Diruk (Die-Ruck) -- yes, wasn't quite sure of a username either -- and I spotted Kenshi on steam while going through a spree to check-out every game on greenlight. Was about to happily report myself as the first person who got here from steam but looky here >.>'

Well, congratz fabio.

Saw the trailer and went straight off to buy it. Needless to say, there are high expectations for the games success, no pressure rofl. The closest I have gotten to game programming would fall under website coding and digital art, but I have seen, in personal opinion, enough to say that it can a horror waiting to happen. Just thinking of missing a parenthesis can do in a web code is horrifying enough.

At any rate, happy to see a whole bunch of colorful individuals here, proudly am myself as well, and am counting on participating further in the forum.

EDIT: I have some kind of problem with the "the"s and the "they"s >.> (switches)

As of version 0.26.4, there is framework in place to see how well the factions love you. From what i've read, Chris's future plan is to have many factions at war and randomly generated cities.

The blue people? Do you mean the police faction?

Also welcome everyone.

Hello.

I found this game on Steam Greenlight and It has a nice concept of freedom.

But I own a mac, so I couldn't play it initially, but after some minutes tinkering with Wine and Wineskin, I managed to port the game to mac :)

But there are some bugs (auto-updater won't work, text goes blank when a battle is happening), so I'll upload the port after I find a way around them.

Like most people... saw it on Steam Greenlight. I like the concept and paid for a licence immediately. Great ideas like this should be supported.

Hi my name is Victor Nickname: Alaswing, i am 27 years old, and iam from México, iam a net manager, i love RPG games, in the last years, I have not been able to find good rpg, yes the graphics are really incredible, mobility, scenarios, but they have lost that essence, the one that make you to experience the game as if you were inside, the sandbox games lately have been very successfully so I was thinking how to combine a good rpg with a sandbox.

During my search for the best RPG game, I found Desura, while testing the game Project Zomboid, saw Kenshi, I read the description and knew it was the game, I've always dreamed of doing something similar, however I have not the knowledge to do so, my perfect game is something like, you're a kid, in medieval age, live in a kind of farm with your family, and you learn the basics, but when you grow, you can make decisions, whether to join the militia, be a swordmaster, an inventor, the two of them, chopping trees, sell wood, farm, mine, you can sell valuables that are in some mines, craft armor, weapons, do quests, defeating fantastic monsters, have children and train them, die and be with your son who continued the game, having your own army, make decisions that affect the entire game, and will be updated with new content, “stories” what i mean with stories, that are scheduled events or stories that have beginning and end, as the event of a new monster that attacks the nearby town and you can join the soldiers to defeat him, or that of when an important person dies, etc.., an endless game, something hard to find, however kenshi meets much of this, or will meet it.
Looking for the perfect game...

Creating character and raising families.

Bombing rival businesses/extrortion/kidnapping/murder/breaking bones

politics running for mayor/sovereign/executioner and much more!

Running establishments of many classes.

drinking contests and gambling.

Pleasure palaces (Never learned exactly what that was about)

Multiplayer: very unsable with out of sync errors.

The crappy 4 years per turn threw me off. I find it moves too quickly. And I've yet to read up on a mod that fixes that without any major bugs.
