About weapon skills
What do the weapon skills do for you exactly? Strength and Dex obviously help with extra damage and attack and defense turn you into an impenetrable wall of blades. I have done several tests with weapons I have trained the most and the weapons I ignored and enemies die just as quickly either way.

I Noticed that Strength Multiplier, Speed Multiplier, and XP Multiplier aren't exactly being useful to me, But i don't believe they are implemented yet. I am really looking forward to seeing speed and xp being put to x2 and x3, In the higher levels.
Kenshi: Str 100, Dex 77, Attack 80, Defensive 66, Medic 80, Katana Lvl 60
TITLE: Master
TITLE: Master
i haven't seen any xp or speed multiplier
Dexterity for sure has an effect on block speed, if nothing else.
The characters I have with low dexterity, have a block of 1- 2(I have no idea what interval that is). If thrown into a group fight, they do not survive.
The characters I have with 150 to 200+ dexterity, have a block number of 3 to 4. These characters, are generally able to kill 20 or so adversaries on their own.
STR seems to govern damage potential. This seems to be modified by weapon skill and the number of the weapon and the enemies armor factor, but I can't see how.
DEX doe not seem to have any affect on attack speed.. as even characters with 200 dexterity or above appear to have attack speed ratings of 1 or slightly more than 1.

I got like 9 def with my main guy, and 1 dex... and yes... that is shitty....zentermi wrote:Dexterity for sure has an effect on block speed, if nothing else.

weapon skills affect pure damage. Strength affects blunt damage, dex affects speeds and cutting damage less so.
What I've noticed is that you get more strenght from using heavyweapons than katanas or sabers. Since my new char with a heavyweapon got 19str and my main (45katana Skill) only got like 29 or something. I forgot to mention that my heavywep skill is only like 6-10 in that weapon skill. But he get more defence than any other character since he have really slow attackspeed.
Yes. Very observant of you. this opens up the ability to build a 'perfect' heavy weapon user by first training him well in katana's before giving him a big weapon.Zlay wrote:What I've noticed is that you get more strenght from using heavyweapons than katanas or sabers.
