Lifetime license until release?

At the Evaluation Version Reminder Screen it states "Lifetime license to the game, with free updates forever UNTIL the day the game is finished."

So its saying we get free updates UNTIL the game is completed. When the game is finished we have to buy it again?

If not, that is some bad wording.

When the game is "finished" there are no more updates to it, since it's.. well.. finished

Anyway to respond to your question, nop you won't have to buy a new key. It's quite the opposite, since you'll actually get a steam-key for free when the game is available there

And there I was, hoping that Chris will come to my house and personally delete my pre-release copy upon release!

I am highly disappointed!
