Starting Option Anomalies (0.39.1)

-On the starting options where you start off with extra squad members, you cannot name your extra squadies (or design their appearance). Intended?

FREEDOM SEEKERS:
-you also start off with a veteran character '0ld Soldier'. so you have your main character, 5 guys with construction mats, and the old soldier.
-One time i loaded a new game, and I was immediately attacked by bandits. Even with 'old soldier' there, everyone died. (Not really sure if this is an issue. Easy to restart, and saves having to run into wilderness to start building)

THE SURVIVORS
- 2 (dead) squaddies fall out of the sky at the start (Cosmetic/amusing)
