Hope you enjoy your stay. This sandbox is certainly filled with plenty of sand, in more than one way.

Damn, I know there's another sand pun in there I can exploit. Let's see... uh...

"I hope you didn't have to sand in line for long". Shit, that's lame. Doesn't even make sense, you buy the game online. Who even buys games standing up out of their seats...

As long as no one starts reciting lines from Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones, namely that really really bad one that's supposed to be "romantic", then I won't have to stab anyone or derail the thread with catgirls. Seriously, no pun you can think up is worse than that line.

This game is soft and smooth, not course like sand.

God that movie was awful, all the prequels were.
I died to some bandits a minute into my first game.
I now love this game.

You can do pretty much anything you want in Kenshi. The only thing you can't do is make a SANDwich...

Also, what's the (chirp, chirp) thing?

Would like to say:

Although i haven't played much with it yet, i have to say this is already one of the most potential games i ever seen. I've been gaming since the late 80s and honestly, i am so glad i spend money on this game already.

I really hope it will realize its full potential. The Alienplanet vibe i am getting from the structures (the fact that there are robotic parts as well as a race slider in the chargen ensure my opinion of that) leads me to believe this will be quite the interesting setting once its done.

The combat (although a true TBC would have been nice i get why the decision for RTC with Pause to enter commands) engine seems like this game will turn out great. And what i read about where this is potentially going (unconventional quest design for example) makes me just want to support this even more.

I really hope the Dev will stick through it and see its completion. I have a bit of a "minecraft" vibe about this game. With that i mean seeing similar if not more potential for success when as when i early adopted Minecraft.

Really really hope all the potential of this game will be realized. It can turn out to be huge.

I have to say, same words. I am truly amazed at this game. If help is needed I will pinch myself in, just need to know when. All the best and keep up the good work.

I am in the same boat as you friend! This game has potential to be a classic, and believe me, I played A LOT of games. This is one game I truly look forward to. I would give my first born child to ensure this game sees its true potential. c':

Well, I think it's safe to assume that we ALL played a lot of games. You have to be kind of a nerd to find alpha versions of indie games and THEN realize their potential when you see them.^^

Archer: I have to go. But if I find one single dog hair when I get back, I'll rub...sand...in your dead little eyes.
Woodhouse: Very good, sir.
Archer: [pause] I also need you to buy sand.
Woodhouse: Yes, sir.
Archer: I don't know if they grade it, but... coarse.

I wasn't aiming to insult anyone by trying to claim I played more games then anyone, I was just saying how I tend to have low hopes for newer games after playing so many crappy ones, but this one gives me hope because it's unique and not a popular game's clone.

I am a nerd. I am on the internet sir.

Oh no, I didn't take it as an offence! I was just pointing it out. I'm bored. Always.

The alien planet setting is indeed a unique vibe. And with the race slider, you know it's only a matter of time before the mighty catgirl race, the Nekumans, are declared canon and enter the fray. After all some of the Nekuman refugees were living peacefully on their new planet, after fleeing Earth during the violent riots that almost sparked a full fledged uprising in 2159, when out of nowhere an Earth colony ship crashed on their new planet. The passengers, mostly pure-breed humans, treated the planet as if they owned it, completely ignoring the Nekuman refugees who had been there for 58 years.

Unfortunately for the humans, the Nekuman refugees had no idea that the second civil rights movement had ended relatively peacefully in 2160, so initial tensions were incredibly strained. Luckily the Nekumans who had been on board the colony ship managed to convince the refugees to reintigrate into human society, before too much blood was spilled, to help create a more peaceful civilization on their new planet. Sadly not all were convinced though, and word on the wind has it that a few bands of separatist Nekuman are still out there looking down on and preying on Humans when they can.

The separatists beliefs aren't helped by the way that some unlawful types capture Nekuman because their compacted musculature makes them effective labor in cramped or narrow situations, they require less space to store, and don't need as much food to survive as a human. Worse yet some of these unlawful groups hunt Nekuman women in particular due to their desire able features, either to sell them or to keep them for themselves; resulting in some bandit groups almost using Nekuman as an alternative currency to catans.

Can't wait for some good canon and lore to come out for this, hopefully fan made and approved by Chris. Better this way for everyone to give their 2 cents on what they think should be in it.

Are you trying to say you approve of my catgirl backstory, and want Chris to approve and put it in the game?
