Top 4: (Not in order, just generally)
*)Oblivion (Over 250 hours on my xbox copy alone :( then it ballsed up)
*)Shogun 2
*)Battlefield 3
*)Fable: The lost chapters. 2 was shite and 3 was shiteier..

The rest: (really really close to top 5, all sharing 5th spot)
*)Metro 2033
*)The X series, mainly X3: Reunion, but AP is pretty good. Maybe the newness of when i got reunion pushed it ahead for me.
*)Far Cry 3
*)The 'original' halo trilogy. ODST i quite liked, Reach was ok, 4 was good for MP but pretty rubbish for story.
*)Witcher 2
*)Fable: The lost chapters. 2 was shite and 3 was shiteier..
*)Black and white 2.
*) All the orginal Tomb raiders.

Offtopic:
The new tomb raider was great - i would say 7 out of 10. It immediately loses 1 point for not having a run roundable mansion, 1 for all the scripted sequences and QTEs (I mean seriously, let me play the damn game, not hammer keys in time to your stupid nudges), and 1 because there wasn't enough Tomb Raider in it. My favourite part of TR ever.. tomb raider 2, venice, the canals, the shooting people. This one was wayyyyyy too far cry 3 mixed with Assassins creed for my liking, and not enough tomb raider.

Also, off topicish, anyone played the Arma3 alpha yet? If so, opinions?

I'm sure there are many more.

Hey there!

Favourite vidya games... Hm. Well, the game that started my entire foray into gaming in general was Age of Empires 2: the Age of Kings. The rest, well, in standard list format...

Zweihanders TOP FIVE

1) AoE 2 (as was previously stated)
2) Fallout 3 (always go back and explore Capital Wasteland every couple of weeks :D )
3) Journey (Definitely enjoyed it immensely; although some don't classify it as a "game" sometimes.)
4) Dark Souls (FYI I use the Claymore. Hehehehe)
5) Medieval Total War 2 (so much playtime logged on that baby)
When you give a game a chance, and discover a masterpiece.
So..... awesome!

Ummm...well, in order of time played...

1. Rome - Total War: 1.000+ hours (estimate, includes mods)
2. Empire - Total War: 400+ hours (includes mods)
3. EvE Online - 250+ hours (estimate)
4. TES V: Skyrim: 200+ hours (includes minor mods and Dawnguard DLC)
5. Project Reality (Mod for Battlefield 2): 150+ hours (estimate)

Rome: Total War will probably never pass the crown to any other game, had it for 8 years now and still playing modded versions of it (Europa Barbarorum, mostly)

I love EB. I wish the vapourware that is the sequel will come out one day. They seem to be sitting on their arses doing very little in terms on making the mod. 6+ years of work and not even close to release, I fear it will die a slow death soon.

Yea well, EB2 is for the Kingdoms expansion for M2, so I don't care anyway. I'd rather have them iron out the crashes of the original EB...just a few days ago it killed a campaign of mine. I was playing as Sweboz, my empire stretched from what's Norway to Switzerland today and from the Pyrenees to the border of modern-day Russia...and that's including the British Isles. Plus Lusotanna and Getai were my protectorates. I let the Romans live, just for the hell of it...and what do I get for being so nice? Some scripted event for the Romans killed the game.

1. Halo (The series in general - I'm playing 4 the most at the moment)
2. Battlefield 3 (Xbox)
3. Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 (Xbox again)
4. Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PC)
5. Dead Pixels (PC)

Slightly going off on a tangent here, but I am tracking other games that are in the works as well as Kenshi: I am waiting for the DayZ Standalone and for Destiny (Bungie's new game). The thing I like about Kenshi is that we actually get news on how the game is coming along, and what to expect along the way. DayZ are so terrible with status updates that I joked to my friends that when they release the game no-one will buy it because they will forget to tell everyone that the game is done. Destiny isn't as bad as DayZ, but so far there has been only minimal information as to what the game is actually going to be like.

Also glad to see S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Metro 2033. In my opinion, they both had better post-apocalyptic settings than Fallout 3 (and I enjoyed playing them more, cue accusations of heresy etc). Far Cry 3 was a blast to play too.

Doesn't really count as a game, but if you're into visual novels, definintely check out Katawa Shoujo (unless you are under 18). I had a great time going through that.

1. Infinity Engine RPG's (Baldur's Gate 1/2, Icewind Dale1/2, Planescape Torment, etc)
2. TES series (Morrowind-Skyrim, haven't tried the older ones yet)
3. Battlefield series (from 1942-present)
4. Mount&Blade (been playing since the original was beta)
4. Total Annihilation (best RTS ever made)
5. Hmmm.... tie between King of Dragon Pass and Neverwinter Nights 1

Minecraft, Civ 5, Alpha Centauri, Terraria, and Dwarf Fortress are all great too, but sometimes I love 'em, sometimes they just bore me to tears.... I'm a fickle gamer guess.
