[MOD] Sand to Snow Texture mod

Another terrain retexture for people that want something different from sand. This changes the game into a cold mountainous region. There's a readme in the rar which directs which files you have to back up before installing in case you want to revert to the original texture.

Don't forget to take a backup of the original files before installing!

Man i gotta say, this looks really neat. I havent tested it out yet, but i really dig the snow on those pics. It kinda puts me into a tibet type of feeling, with the snowy mountainous regions. Looks good.

This is actually pretty awesome, I wonder if there's a chance to mod this where there could be seasons, not just sand and different enviroment entirely so to speak? Cool mod!

I think you should change a little the flora if possible, to something that can be more charatheristic of a tundra or snow landscape, something that... can "blend in".

As the region in Kenshi is mountainous, at that height there usually isn't much flora at all, so it's actually more realistic to play without the grass. Go down in height a bit more and you get this

Which makes it a realism trade-off, between the snow and flora.
I might try and make the plants look like they have snow on them and see how it works out.

Just copy the /data folder in the .rar file into your Kenshi install folder. There should already be a /data folder in there.

I found out what I was doing wrong. I had a 'Kenshi' folder in my /C drive from the demo, and I was running out of the steam folder. Thanks for the heads up, man.
