Just wondering, i have my army slaughtering folks left and right, but it seems that the town units keep spawning...

Is it even possible to take over a town? or am i just wasting my time?

Thanks in advance.

Some towns you can I think...but I don't think you could take over Brink or Shark.

You could enslave all of them so they wouldn't die & respawn.... Lol basically just knock'em out disarm them and put them in a shack and lock the door lololol.

I thought town NPCs stayed dead. Was that changed, or did I get it wrong? It's not that the downed ones get bandaged up by their allies is it? I agree that taking their weapons is a good way to pacify a town if you don't kill them outright.

Anyway, I'd really like to see this implemented more fully later on. You should be able to take over, Hire NPCs to be traders and guards, and get a cut of the profits (i.e. taxes).

You currently cannot take over a town, at all.
Throwing them into a locked house, taking their weapons, ect. yes.
But actually owning the whole town? No. You can buy some buildings and kill everyone, though.

Faction wars haven't been implemented yet, so towns can't change ownership. I imagine we'll get those sorts of features once we have more concerted efforts from our enemies to take our outposts and towns from us. To slaughter all the guards in the town take good fighters with a full set of Edge MK V blades and slaughter them every time they get up for a couple of days, they stop getting up eventually but they usually have to bleed out. Brink sometimes has a guard on the wall that can't come down, which means he'll always be up there aggro

Yes they can. Buy all the buildings, kill everyone inside, kill ALL the people that get near it and congratulations, you're the mayor of a ghost town.
