[0.42.2]No steel refinery, crafting window bug not fixed

My game on steam just updated to the new version but i can't find some of the new stuff. The crafting list is still cutting out the last item of it, and i can't find the steel refinery anywhere, nor i have new research to unlock it. I tried starting a new game with import squad too, but that didn't change things.

Same here I do not see any Steel Refinery listed at all.

Are you sure? The research is called "Steel Bars" and is only available at level 2

100% sure. i have all the research that could be done before the latest patch. unless i have to rebuild a lower level of research bench (i only have the latest one), it's not in the list.

i tried the import squad with buildings, and it wasn't there. i could try an import without buildings so that research will be reset but it'll take a while then to go check if then the steel mill appears. do you want the savegame?

it was working for me. I had a research bench 1 and a 3 or 4 at the time. Try building an earlier one.

I do find the steel refinery too, had a research bench 1 and 4.

The not fixed crafting window applies for me too though. Still can't get those Straight Cleavers MKIV.

I changed to a research bench 6 in the middle of steel bars 1 research and steel bars 2 is listed, unfortunately did not get to check if steel bars 1 was listed on a table 6 in my game.

it's definitely listed on table 4 and 5, so in the meantime you could just build one of those and start the research and people on both tables should contribute to it.

Had no trouble completing the research and building a steel refinery.

ok, i built a level 4 bench and the stuff appeared, so i was able to get that too. the craft list though is still an issue

Yeah I see them now, I just reinstalled the game from steam (saved my game) and I see them under the tech box now. Thanks and keep up the great work your doing.
