Men disappeared

I played this game for 44 hours. I had 35k and a dozen men. Last night, I saved my game with my men placed in the middle of Catan. I loaded my game, and it says I have no members. I still have my funds and my faction name, but each and every one of my faction members have disappeared.

Did you try do import squad but just reset position? There might show no one to do it, but they might show as it might "forcew" to search them. That seems so weird none the less

You might try to reload older save. Seems like there is a backup save in the directory with saves. Never tried it so no idea if it helps.

Tried that. it worked out to my benefit because I tried a new background and liked it better, it was just a bummer to see that all of my men went AWOL. They get 20 some more days to report back in before they're labeled as deserters. That's a little military humor for all my fellow vets

I've never heard of this issue affecting someone before, when you say that you "tried that" did you mean restoring an old save or new game/import squad reset positions only? Have you tried Import Squad with my buildings? Can you zip up the save folder and upload it for inspection?
