At this point Im imagining total war style battles :D

If it gets huge, this is going to be my dream game...

I've always wanted a total war type game where I can control one guy.. or a group of guys

IM EXCITED TO SEE WHAT COMES NEXT :D

Hi birdman,

Thought about this too :) Well it would certainly work, but at this early stage, squads of large numbers look very clumped together, when in a battle, this does improve as characters spread out to fight each other and select targets. Looks very cool too.

However you would also need to consider the way that the game would generate a lot of spam messages to the screen about every single hit that is made and where, you'd have green text all over the place! Another thing is the FPS, you can't expect Kenshi to run fast at this stage with 100s of men roaming together, and it's obviously going to be GPU/CPU dependant to some extent, but Chris has already stated performance will increase so. :)

As cities will be built and expand as the game develops, I'm sure they'll grow into thriving, complex, infrastructures :D

As Graeywulf said.
At this point in the game, it's too much for the game to handle.
But I can vouch for massive battles and cities in the future.

As for the green numbers, we'll probably develop a mod that you can activate whenever you want so that they no longer show up...I already get annoyed by the green numbers on the horizon.
They let you know where combat is happening, but later we'll have sound effects for that.

Would be nice to have them only show up for damage dealt to you or your squad members I think

Well, due to how buggy the game is right now, I think they'll stick around for a while, to make it easier to tell if anything really weird is happening damage-wise.

Hi all !

Agreed !

Right now the more info on screen the better for testing things. If I had access to a debug mode similar to Mount and Blade Warband I'd be real chirpy.

I'm sure damage floaters and such will be have a toggle at a later date.
