Hello, after spending all night setting up my outpost, I realized my men could get up to the 2nd ledge you will see in the video, so I sent them up there to get ready to start making mines, farms etc, but as I tried to send another guy up to start construction of a mine he couldn't get up, and the the other four soldiers couldn't get down. Please note, those are my main characters and the only ones who stand a fighting chance in combat.

Nevermind.
Fixed this using the 'New game Import Squad' feature and kept buildings. Ah, that's a relief.

Could have also used the "Reset Squad Positions" feature in the New Game Import Squad.

Glad you solved it yourself. If you would be so kind, edit the title and add the word Solved or Fixed to it, so people will know your issue has been resolved.

I'd have clicked that but I didn't know whether it would keep my buildings or not. Thanks anyway.

The Reset Squad Positions feature should be used as a fix for almost every issue, in my opinion.
Keeps all buildings, squad members, etc. as is, except your squad will spawn in an NPC town as if you just started a new game in the exact world you left. This is also handy for resetting the positions of NPCs if they're bugged as well.

Another fun feature is Ctrl + Shift + F11, which rebuilds the navmesh. Useful to remove any invisible walls or fix pathing issues but exiting and restarting Kenshi is always healthy.

That's odd, that's exactly what the button I pressed does.
But then again I'm new, is there any significant differences between the two?

Importing your squad to a new game with buildings (that's labeled buggy) causes the walls on your buildings to become transparent, though not exactly much that prevents gameplay that isn't already a known issue.

Resetting Squad Positions ONLY does not create a new game. It merely moves your squad to a position in an NPC town as if you started a new game, but its using your currently saved world.
