Loading times .44

Am not sure if this is the right place to put it, as it is not really a bug.

Since the new .44 patch (I downloaded the whole new installation), loading times have become much much longer for me. In particular the loading of all the PCs and NPCs. I tried it out in both windowed and full-screen mode and there is no difference.
