Why yes, I just destroyed your army, burned your city to the ground, and terrorized the entire continent by myself. Tea?
For me I think its not going to be as elaborate as I'm quite new to gaming (I only played casually on the ps2 with my friends) and I don't have a very powerful (hopefully going to get a new one soon) PC but for me its probably:
1. Star Wars Battlefront (my first ever proper video game on the ps2) The split screen on that was amazing.
2. Arkham City- Loved that as a comic book fan. (arkham asylum wasn't as fun In my opinion but had more stealth)
3. Skyrim- Brought it the other day and I love it!
4.Garrys Mod
5. Cod3 that game wasn't that bad, in fact it was good, the other cod games however...

1 skyrim
2minecraft
3evrocron mercenary
4druken robot pornography(yes that's a real game)
5 masters of orion 2
if you can not get five, then try endless space, that is the closest to MoO that any one has come so far, and its pretty good. It lacks the combat of MoO, but it makes up for it with everything else.
Lately i have been addicted to green light games. delver is fun/frustrating, and is very hateful/merciless hard, starport gemenai 2 plays pretty good, and once they get more into it, i believe i will switch away from evocron to it.

In no particular order and off the top of my head.
1, x-com: enemy unknown
2, final fantsay 7
3, Zelda: Links Awakening (the first proper game i ever played)
4, mount and blade warband
5, Day-z
If i had to choose a multiplayer game on the console:
Cod or Battlefield, purely because of the fun that can be had with a few mates on the same server.

Warband is amazing! Cant wait for bannerlord!drakken wrote:- Planescape torment.
- Sundog (atari ST).
- Fallout 1 & 2.
- Mount and blade warband.
- Steel Panthers (spww2 or SPmbt).
Then :
Privateers, baldurs gate 2, X3, Oblivion and Skyrim, Fallout 3, GTA san andrea.
1. Age of Empires 2: Age of Kings (been playing this game since I was like 10 and by far the best RTS I have ever played. Don't really like The Forgotten expansion, it just doesn't seem to do it for me. Maybe it's the lack of voice acting. Though AoE 1 gets a honorable mention for this slot, I always forget just how annoying it was to have only 50 pop and build 1 unit at a time
)
2. Half-Life 1/Opposing Force/Blue Shift ( I think they should all count as 1 game. And never have I seen another game that could tell the same story so well from different perspectives.)
3. Mount and Blade Warband with Diplomacy Mod ( I have many hundreds of hours on this game and it takes forever to conquer the whole map for your own kingdom)
4. Tomb Raider (the new one where Laura is young, I thought they did an amazing story telling job and portrayed her perfectly and realistically.)
5. Interstellar Marines (I'm not really an FPS type of guy but so far there is just something about this game that makes it really cool even though it is only in Alpha.)

1.Final Fantasy XII ( the setting it took place in, the exploring, the combat, they all captured me, plus instead of having romance like many other titles before it actually focused primarily on politics, which was interesting ) then Final Fantasy X and VIII
2.Oblivion, Skyrim and Morrowind in this order, but also Fallout:New Vegas ( and also Divinity: Ego Draconis, Two Worlds 2 )
3.Pokemon series ( no I am not a kid but Pokemon Red and Blue were my first games, got them both for my 5th birthday and they were in spanish, which is not my native language! I still wonder how the heck I finished the games at that early age ) and Digimon World 2003 was a great game too ( okay now you are allowed to laugh at me but I don't care, childhood memories are the best! )
4.Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne ( JRPG with badass Dante from Devil May Cry as a recruitable character, you become a demi-fiend and are able to recruit demons from all mythologies and can fuse them to create stronger demons, takes place in a post apocalyptic tokyo; battle system is great even though it is exploitable and the music during the battles is awesome ) and Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 are epic too, but instead of recruiting demons your characters can transform into demons themselves
5.Demons Souls/Dark Souls with their amazing combat and dark medieval atmosphere
6.Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup with all its races and classes is just awesome
7.Warlords Battlecry 3, the first ever RTS I played, a hidden gem with RPG aspects
8.Legend of Dragoon ( an old forgotten JRPG which never got the attention it deserved )
9.Minecraft, even though the graphics make my eyes bleed, but that's easily fixed with a 512-1024 res texture pack and a mod that adds climbing and crawling to keep things interesting
10.Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, because vampires when done the right way and not a la Twilight are actually cool
Lastly, Xenoblade, Monster Hunter series, White Knight Chronicles, Zelda series and Metal Gear Solid series as honorable mentions
Sorry about that, but it's impossible for me to pick only 5!

Spore - Amazing game. Just loved the game play and the idea behind it.
Ultima Online - The first online true online game that I ever got into. I lost 5 years playing it!
Fallout 2 - I loved the game play and idea.
Black & White - Epic game. Amazing graphics and game play for its time.

1) XenoGears (because it was awesome in all you can think) and Metal gear Solid.
This two games have changed my mind and i played them in english while i'm not, so i learned some of it trough them(11-12 years old). Xenogears have the power to shatter all of your prejudice in god letting you think with your mind and give you a vertical view of what really is faith. Metal gear solid........Psyco Mantis was....ohhh. All the story (sniper wolf and cyborg ninja) and combat system was new for the stardard of the time.
2)FF VII....why not VIII? because there is a abyss between the two of them. FFVIII is good but i nearly cryed in FFVII(Aeris ç_ç ,Sephirot one of the few boss in the history of games with a background music with his name and a orchestra...:O)
3)AoE 2 and AoM with expansion
4)Tekken (i like them all...no sorry tag no), and Soul Calibur (here i like them all). i like beat'em up type and i must say Dead Or Alive need a honorable metion.
5)RaiderZ, yes maybe it is strange but i like the party and bosses system
