Just a quick thought on something I think would add to the gameplay of Kenshi...... Joinable Factions/Cities. Being able to join any faction would give great options towards how people could play the game. It would also take into account that factions rep/standings with all other factions thus upholding immersion. And joining a city would allow the use of all amenities, ie: generators, ovens and so on, that are already present within the city boundries. Possibly at a small daily cost to the player. Generally when u buy a house within a cities walls that's all u get. You should have access to power sources, water outlets and other aspects, Paying a small daily fee for the use.

Yes, but its not just an "army man" who just gives you missions that involve trawling a dungeon just like every other faction *coughelderscrolls!*. You join up as just one more rookie and are thrown into huge battles. It doesn't matter whether you win or not, as long as you survive.

I guess it would be fun to join a city's faction just to user heir amenities (or get civilian jobs to perform for the advancement of that city/faction), but I think it would be a little more realistic if the faction that owns the city would allow your members to use basic amenities so long as you maintain neutral or better relations.
