Mouse buttons
I dislike the wasd arguement.
It shows a lack of thought and individuality.
About the same fanboy mentality of console nuts.
I remap everything to be more efficient and intuitive.
Is it really that hard to understand?
I can't count the number of times I have been told off and called countless unsavory names for saying I do not use wasd.
I also can not count the number of times I topped DPS, healing, or was the last man standing in numerous raids, arenas, etc.
Regardless... what does it matter in a single player strategy game what keys and finger people use?
The ability to recognize left handed mouses would be a plus though. A great deal of my friends seem to be lefties as is my step-father and brother in law... I have heard and understand how frustrating it is for them to live in a right-handed world. Of course I guess I may understand because I know the frustration of having to live in a short person world.

so.
no shortcut key for you?
I have had a few omi use mouses, but then again i use trackball mouse.
But with Kenshi and most games you can map your keyboard/mouse commands to fit your playstyle.
so you have that option to change the key/mouse commands to how ever you want it.

Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.
Then Men would become unmanageable

That's so odd to see this as a request. I thought that setting a mouse to left-handed via the Control Panel would basically swap the input signals as they come into the computer, thus forcing every application to adhere to this setting.

I thought that too. I use a left handed mouse with no problems, but it's a weird vertical one.PnzrNorm wrote:That's so odd to see this as a request. Just swapped primary and secondary buttons, and it does not force this function in Kenshi.Chris_The_Great wrote:I thought that too. I use a left handed mouse with no problems, but it's a weird vertical one.
Granted, I do have a Razer Naga.
I know....but maybe he doesn't want to buy a new oneMarilous wrote:Left handed mouses exist.
This is heresy!Marilous wrote:With that logic in place if you were left handed would you then use ikjl, in lieu of wasd?

Just put the mouse on the other side....
I've had several Razer's, and worn them out so to speak (mouse buttons start double clicking on single click and other weird stuff).
At the moment I don't feel like dishing out the extra money on a left-handed Razer, when I got an almost limitless supply of "standard" mice from work.
I would just like Kenshi to "accept" the switch of primary mouse button when/if possible.

Not sure what exactly you mean... If you mean I can already switch mouse buttons in Kenshi, please do tell how, because I haven't been able to find it.Hatsune_Neko wrote:so.

I always use hardware mouse, since not doing so gives me huge lag in the interface. It doesn't affect the mouse buttons though.Tolwrath wrote:question: does messing with the "hardware mouse" checkbox in the options do anything for you? have to restart for changes to take effect.
