0.70.4 Engineer jobs do not add materials automatically

I'm having a problem with my engineers when constructing buildings and other objects. Each time an engineer goes to add materials to the building, they will run to it and go through the animation of building but they don't actually add any materials to the object, so he just sits there fiddling with his hands while the building progress doesn't move because there's no materials in the building yet. I have to manually get him to move off the building and actively click on the building again to get him to add the materials and THEN build it. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens often in enough that it gets rather annoying and can waste a lot of time.

It mainly gets annoying when I'm off managing a trading party or looting party and have set my engineers to build something while I'm away but come back to realise that nothing has been built over the past half hour.

Not a huge deal, but figured i should post it since i haven't noticed it in the forums yet.
