[0.71.2] jumping camera bug / crashdump [FIXED]

hi,

verifying game cache always results in failure, maybe it needs a reinstall.
with this in mind I describe 2 bugs:

1) if i click my first avatar in squad, camera strangely jumps back and forth on random map locations.
doesn't occur with other characters. if i click on another avatar strange camera behaviour stops.

UPDATE A): I reinstalled game and did veryfy the game cache again. camera still jumps

UPDATE B): camera jumps on different avatars from different squads. seems randomly,
maybe it depends on the new squad feature?


2) while loading/importing game the camera jumped and game crashed

I noticed that on loading for autosave or something it displaces the camera a certain distance away from where the character view originally was.


It seems as if its trying to decide who to follow.


UPDATE:
Whenever a new persona comes into distance of my characters it does it.

Also encountering the jumping camera issue.
This is occurring about the same time as each message prompt that appears on the screen for "Building Construction Completed" or "Autosaved" and so on.

I've found a workaround for this is to always have the camera locked on to a character.

The issue is happening to me aswel. Had it happen as i was importing a save and my computer locked up had to hold down the power button.

Yes, it looks like the camera is searching for avatar position, and can't find it.

I have the same issue. When I had just one character in my entire party (and thus one in the squad) I didn't have this issue. I'll try with a new single character game for a bit (to verify that it doesn't happen with 1 character) and then try putting my people in to separate squads and see what happens.

Update: Tried with a single character, happened almost instantly. Still happens with separate squads. Guess I must have not noticed it as much with one character, or perhaps it was a different version at that point. Sorry for the red herring.

As of 71.3 it definitely seems fixed.
