just a simple feature similar to resetting your squads locations but reset all the NPC's to their original location or to the centre of the nearest town.
So many times I end up with entire towns sprinkled over a cliff side because 1 bandit has spawned in the wrong place and over time well sh** just happens
In fact it's more often sand ninja's than bandits but either way haha
what does everybody think?
[EDIT]
I was just thinking, say there was a feature that reset NPC locations, you could also have it reset wildlife back to the nearest nest, and even have all bandits/ninja's reset to certain locations (somewhere not on an inaccessible hill obviously)
Reset NPC Locations
Hi,
I think importing your game to a new one is the only current way of resetting positions for NPC (resurrecting missing dead too like police chiefs or town guards and citizens). So basically you wish for a feature that doesn't include importing in a new game, just a similar fix ?
I would like to have that, because this would fix npc issues around cities and my outposts without having to reimport, and sometimes to rebuild everything ... Actually, the already ingame reset squad position could do that if modified by the devs, i wonder why it doesn't do it already ?
Only issue is, the ninjas and bandits sometimes just pop into cities, same for some wildlife (so far leviathan mostly) that appear right into cities even buildings or stuck on cliffs. Current pathing code cause the game to make mistakes as it spawns life back in to the world and ignore obstacles and settlements borders alltogether.
This happens most of the time when you don't look around the area, but i've now seen it plenty of times right when i was hovering the place.
It would be a nice fix, but we still need to wait for the new pathing system to fully enjoy kenshi's world, even with it's current items and gameplay content. Once pathing is secured, playing kenshi will make us rise to the heavenly world of unchecked gaming hours that makes your dinners go cold before you could eat them and get punched by your girlfriend/boyfriend out of divine domestic life wrath! :O

Keryyn is correct
importing into a new game is the only way currently to reset everyone's positions.
